Tuesday Mar 12, 2024
Tuesday Mar 12, 2024
Episode 177 was recorded February 27, 2024.
Do you think of treats on Easter, or is that just a Halloween thing? It’s Women’s History Month, and we’re celebrating women filmmakers with a special treat.
Our guest, Allison Lobel brings Diane Foster and Kelly Grant to the show. We talk about mobile filmmaking and the making of their new franchise feature horror comedy “Easter Bloody Easter,” a new film by WallyBird Productions, which was not shot with a phone, distributed by Gravitas. We had an inspiring discussion on how mobile filmmakers can create a franchise with a mobile film.
Allison Lobel was the protagonist in “Paralysis,” by Levi Austin Morris. It won Best Feature last year at the International Mobile Film Festival in San Diego.
“Easter Bloody Easter” is Diane Foster’s directorial debut, which stars Allison, Diane and Kelly. Watch the film on VOD March 26.
